The Hippocratic was founded in 2025 with the goal of producing publications aimed at fostering interdisciplinary dialogue across science, philosophy, and public policy. As an organization, our mission is to engage a broader audience in critical discussions about the social challenges surrounding science today. Through emphasizing community-centered stories and broadcasting the issues students are passionate about, we work to examine science and technology through a wide range of ethical, historical, and policy-driven perspectives.

Science does not exist in a vacuum, and the only way to combat systemic inequality is to remain cognizant of how it persists—and to take deliberate steps to challenge it.
